This activity is best used on road trips where there is a lot of traffic. Give everyone either a map of the US or a list of all the states in the USA.
On your trip, try to identify how many state license plates you can see. This isn’t really a game, rather an activity where everyone can help each other by calling out license plates for everyone to circle.

Another spin off of the game is to have ana already written list of restaurants or hotels that everyone has to cross off when they see (or see the sign for it). Just be sure your list matches the country you are in as you probably won't be seeing the Britannia Hotel Blackpool or any Giraffe restaurants anytime soon. Then again, you never know! This game can have many other versions. Get creative! Makes and models of cars, cities that begin with letters from A-Z, or even types of gas stations. The choices are endless, so long as you have fun!
