Make Thank You Cards
Several of our Road Trips take us to see family and friends. Usually this involves activities and such that require the time and resources of others.
One way to show your appreciation and keep the kids busy at the same time is to have the family write thank you notes to those whom you have visited. Bring an envelope or box full of cards, crayons, stickers, markers, etc that the kids can use in the car to design and write their thank you notes.
When you get home from your trip, or reach a post office en-route, mail your notes so that your hosts receive a timely thank you - putting a smile on their faces.
Who knows, maybe you'll be given an invitation to return! :-)
